This is one of the first patterns I made when I began my training as a Surface Pattern Designer. This pattern was made from found leaves and other natural objects in my yard (rocks, pine cones, lichen, moss, twigs). These items were dipped in ink and stamped onto paper. I made this pattern from the resulting stamped images and love how abstract + organic it turned out.

This pattern is a collaboration between me and my dad. He illustrated the insects using his technical drawing skills from when he was an Entomologist. I added flowers and some pops of color to tie the pattern together.
